When I started my Internet Marketing adventures on July 1st, 2006, little did I know where my journey would lead me. My friend Kris Solie-Johnson strongly recommended that I sign-up for a series of 4 “all-day teleseminars” with an Internet Marketing guru…by the name of Alan Bechtold. I’d never heard of Alan and had probably only been on a couple of teleseminar events. But I am a life-long marketer and business development disciple, who wanted to know more about what the Internet might offer. So I signed up, paid my $97.00. And I was hooked!
Three weeks ago I enthusiastically attended Daven's "Outsource Live" event at the Westin Hotel in West Los Angeles. To say it was "high energy" just doesn't do it justice! Daven and Beejal Parmar (Daven's business partner and VP of Business Development at 123 Employee) seriously brought their "A Game".
I knew that I was among like-minded Internet Marketers when our 8:00 cocktail reception on Thursday evening lasted until 2:00 am on Friday morning. Sorta like "Pizza & Profits"….West Coast style. You Mike Filsame "Cruisers know what I'm talking about. And it didn't left up until the event wrapped up on Sunday evening. Talk about serious overload.
Some of you were able to catch all the action on streaming video, courtesy of Jeff Mills, of Traffic Mills fame – and Internet Marketing consultant Henry Griner. For those of you who were unable to participate, I understand Daven's going to be reprising the big-top show again later this year. And because I know you don't want to wait…here are some of the insights, advice and points of guidance that I captured from various presenters. Hopefully I've captured the spirit and intentions of their remarks…and if not, then I request their understanding.
Daven kicked off the 1st morning with great insights into our "New Wealth and Freedom Lifestyles". He captured my attention immediately by asking "What is your Mojo?" Who's ready to answer that on 4 hours sleep? Turns our I wasn't too out of touch. We were being challenge to redefine our being in the "need" business…as being in the "want" business. Good advice, for sure. At about that same point, Daven reminded us that "we are the sum of our 5 closest friends"…when it comes to reflecting how much money we make, how we approach problem-solving and so on.
More to come soon…
Earlier this month a had the pleasure to spend 3 days loading up on Internet Marketing "ninja tips & tricks"…with Larry & Gail. What an informative time – I could hardly believe how fast it went!
